Hannah is a member of the Litigation and Dispute Resolution team at James Berry and Associates. Prior to joining JBA, Hannah gained extensive experience in the U.K, initially at a top tier national law firm as a junior commercial lawyer and then most recently as an In-House Advocate specialising in Insurance, Personal Injury Law and Credit Hire (the latter including the application of Contract Law and Consumer Regulatory Law). The core of Hannah’s practice involved preparing legal proceedings relating to the civil law procedure and undertaking courtroom advocacy. Her experience has enabled her to become proficient in drafting, undertaking negotiations and providing legal advice to lay and professional clients including Aviva Insurance and the Royal Bank of Scotland.
Hannah’s academic background consists of a BA (Hons) in Politics and a Graduate Diploma in Law. In addition to this, Hannah undertook the Bar Vocational Course (BVC) and was called to the U.K Bar in 2010 at The Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn. Most recently, she embarked on the Legal Practice Course (LPC) in 2017 where she obtained a distinction.
Hannah’s current practice at JBA consists of litigation and real property where she assists the dispute resolution team in matters pertaining to commercial debt recovery, landlord and tenant disputes, property purchases and sales as well as off-plan property disputes.
