An employee resigns his position and his employer fails to pay his End of Service Gratuity entitlement.
Under Article 132 of the UAE Labour Law, an employer is under an obligation to pay out to the employee an end of service gratuity payment at the end of his employment, where the employment exceeds one year. The benefit is paid at the end of the employment relations and cannot, under any circumstances be deducted from any commission/salary due to the employee.
