Our Wills and Inheritance Partner, Tasleem Sayani, recently spoke at a Downtown networking event, jam-packed with entrepreneurs looking to learn how to best protect their business interests in the event of their demise. The topics were varied and thought-provoking, and covered all those important aspects of estate planning that need to be considered – from cancellation of work permits in the event of death of an employee, to paying out final dues, gratuity and life insurance proceeds to the rightful heirs. A lively Q & A session followed, with all the attendees leaving the session better informed and armed with a clear indication of the steps to follow.
