Our Wills and Inheritance Partner, Tasleem Sayani, spoke at a well-attended session over the weekend on developments in the area of Wills and Inheritance laws in the UAE. Organised by a well-known Financial Services firm based in Dubai, the session attracted over 200 individuals of varying nationalities and backgrounds. A lengthy and interesting Q & A session followed the presentation and a wide range of topics were discussed including joint ownership of real estate, guardianship for Muslim children,  Estate planning for corporate assets, multi-jurisdictional Wills and end of service payments for deceased employees.
