Roshni Chadda graduated from a National Law University in India in 2013 and thereafter worked in the M&A team of a top-tier law firm as well as being in-house counsel at a leading global conglomerate in India. In 2017, she was awarded the prestigious British GREAT Scholarship to pursue MSc. in Law & Finance at the University of Leeds in the UK. After completing her masters degree in 2018, she started working as a legal consultant in the UAE.
Roshni’s diverse work experience in the UAE and India, along with her education in the UK at a Business School and Law School contemporaneously, equip her with skills for achieving favourable and swift outcomes for businesses.
Roshni advises businesses on all facets of commercial law and assists with navigating complex legal issues, including shareholders’ disputes and debt recovery disputes. She regularly drafts and reviews commercial agreements and assists clients with commercial dispute resolution through amicable negotiations and settlements.
She has drafted and reviewed a wide range of commercial agreements including share subscription agreements, shareholders agreements, business transfer/ asset purchase agreements, franchise agreements, employment contracts and credit facility / loan agreements. Her varied work experience puts her in an advantageous position to foresee problems and complexities that may arise at a later stage in contracts. Roshni regularly renders legal opinions on complex aspects of business law in various sectors including fintech, banking and finance, manufacturing, distribution, real estate.
